Game Jam 7: The Old Astronomer

This game was made for the Cartidge Jam 3. The theme was to take an image of a custom game cartridge made by someone else and turn it into a video game. The cartridge we chose was that of "The Old Astronomer". We were attempting to develop a game similar to passepartout in which you are a struggling ye old astronomer/peasent who has to discover all that the stars have to offer by studying the night sky and documenting your findings, customizing certain astrological items and writing small descriptions about them in a book. This collection of notes then become research books and influence their total value. These notes/research books would then be sold to enthusiasts and skeptics alike who are walking by your shack on the street in order to pay your rent/basic needs. So far we've got the basic setup of the game and more on the way.
